• Treat with flucloxacillin

(B-lactam – inhibits transpeptidase which makes proteoglycan cell wall) for 6-8 weeks

• & maybe 2 weeks of Fuisdic acid/ Rifampicin

(Rifampicin inhibits bacterial RNA polymerase)

• Release any pus without delay
