• FLEXION OF IP &
• EXTENSION OF MC
= CLAW HAND.
This is a passive sign – ie its like this in the
resting state)
FYI: Similar symptoms occurs when ulnar
nerve is damaged in a medial epicondyle
fracture of humerus – you get an ulnar claw
in the 4
th and 5
th
fingers due to lumbrical
damage. But don’t confuse these two
